By the end of the diploma the participants will be able to :
- Acquire advanced knowledge of immunology related subjects including, but not limited-to, immuno-toxicology, immunopathology, cancer immunity, auto-immunity as well as genetics and molecular biology, with an emphasis on gene x environment interactions and effects of climate, hygiene and pollution on the immune system.
- Able to recognize, solve and mitigate problems related to immune sys. modulation, based on the deep understanding of involved theories and state-of-the-art methods used to address such problems, with knowledge of immunotherapy.
- Follow both the legal and ethical guidelines for professional practicing in the clinical settings.
- Own individual insights into innovation and utilizing the research and development (R&D) benefits from a clinical point of view.
- Gain a strong working perception related to both basis and application(s) of updated molecular biology and genetics technique(s) in research as well as the clinical practice.
- Grasp a detailed overview of necessary biosafety principles, including lab practices and regulatory aspects of research.
